PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy governs the relationship between ALMA ENGINEERING INDUSTRY AND TRADE JOINT STOCK COMPANY (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and a natural or legal person (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”) regarding the provision and processing of Personal Data.
1. Definitions and Terms
1.1. Website – any website of the Company where information about the Company's products, marketing campaigns, and other content is published on the Internet.
1.2. Client – a natural or legal person using the Company’s Website.
1.3. Personal Data – information related to a specific Client, as defined in Clause 3.1 of this Policy.
1.4. Processing of Personal Data – any action or set of actions performed with or without the use of automation tools involving Personal Data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), retrieval, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, or destruction of Personal Data.
1.5. Cookies – fragments of data sent by a web server to the Client's browser when visiting the Website.
2. Objectives and Principles of the Privacy Policy and Collection of Personal Data
2.1. This Privacy Policy applies to all information specified in Section 3 that the Company may obtain about the Client while using the Website, software, and products.
2.2. The Client provides their Personal Data for the following purposes:
• creating a user account;
• providing technical support related to the use of the Website;
• placing orders, receiving notifications about order status, processing and receiving payments;
• receiving news, product information, information about events, promotional campaigns, or services;
• participating in promotional campaigns and surveys;
• using other available services on the Website, including but not limited to forums, personal blogs, private messaging between registered users, personalized comments and reviews.
The data provided may also be used for the promotion of products on behalf of the Company or its partners.
2.3. Ensuring secure data storage and transparency of data collection purposes. Personal data of Clients is collected, stored, processed, used, transferred, and deleted (destroyed) in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey and this Privacy Policy.
3. Information Subject to Processing
3.1. Personal Data permitted for processing under this Privacy Policy is provided by the Client by filling out the registration form on the Company’s Website and includes the following:
3.1.1. Full name of the Client;
3.1.2. Contact phone number;
3.1.3. Email address;
3.1.4. Order history;
3.1.5. Name of the company where the Client is currently employed.
3.2. The Company also collects data automatically transmitted during the Client’s visit to the Website, including:
3.2.1. IP address;
3.2.2. Cookie data;
3.2.3. Browser information (or other software used to display ads);
3.2.4. Access time;
3.2.5. Referrer (address of the previous webpage).
4. Processing and Use of Personal Data
4.1. Personal Data is processed for an unlimited period of time, by any lawful means, including within personal data information systems with or without the use of automation tools.
4.2. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, the Client grants the Company indefinite consent to process the Personal Data specified in Section 3 using the methods defined herein and to transfer such data to the Company's partners for the fulfillment of obligations.
4.3. The Company shall not transfer Client information to unaffiliated persons or to persons not contractually bound to the Company.
4.4. Data may be transferred to affiliated persons and parties contractually bound to the Company (e.g., courier services, postal organizations) for the purposes of fulfilling the Client’s order and informing the Client about promotions, services, and events.
4.5. Affiliated persons and contractual partners of the Company are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of the information and ensure its protection, and may only use the information for the purposes stated herein.
4.6. The Company takes all necessary measures to protect the Client's Personal Data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
5. Rights and Obligations of the Client
5.1. The Client undertakes not to disclose their login and password used for identification on the Company’s Website to any third parties.
5.2. The Client must take reasonable care in storing and entering their password.
5.3. The Client has the right to modify their Personal Data and request its deletion from the Company.
6. Additional Provisions
6.1. By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, the Client gives indefinite consent to receive information about order status, account notifications, and other technical or marketing notifications, including current promotions and offers, via various means such as SMS and email, among others. The Client may opt out of receiving such communications at any time by updating their account settings.
6.2. The Company is liable to the Client in cases provided by applicable law.
6.3. The Company is not liable for Client information that:
• became publicly available before it was lost or disclosed;
• was received from a third party before the Company obtained it;
• was disclosed with the Client’s consent.
6.4. The Company reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy unilaterally. Changes come into effect upon their publication on the Company's Website.
